About the program

The Internship in Japan program offers international students practical, hands-on experience across a wide range of industries around the heart of Japan-Tokyo. Designed for both students and recent graduates seeking global exposure, the program blends professional development with cultural immersion. Participants not only advance their careers through real-world work experience, but also gain valuable insights into Japanese society, traditions, and workplace culture—building skills, networks, and memories that last a lifetime.

Program Benefits

Career Support Services:

Resume and cover letter review, on-demand 1-on-1 counseling, and interview training.

On-Site Support:

Pre-Arrival & Post-Arrival Orientation, assistance during working hours and 24/7 emergency phone support.

Certificates:

Certificate of Completion and Letter of Recommendation available upon request.

Local activities:

International Networking and Social Events to connect with fellow participants, both international and Japanese.

Cultural excursions:

Two field trips (one within or near Tokyo, and one to another city in the Kanto area) and one professional seminar.

Program Date

Rolling basis application. Internship duration depends on the requirment of internship provider, normally from 1 to 3 months, at least 4 weeks.

Student Eligibility

Language:

Business-level English required; if not, strong Japanese skills are necessary.

Business Internships:

Open to current students or recent graduates.

Technical Internships:

Must have completed at least one year of university; for fields like AI or Robotics, sophomore level or above is required.

Design Internships:

A portfolio is mandatory.
